disruptive DT with recruiting traction and developmental upside
Brooks Barbaree is a Coastal Carolina defensive tackle whose appeal is less about flashy box-score numbers and more about interior size-and-power upside, with recruiting interest tracked by On3 and an established baseball-style athlete profile from the 2022 class that suggests multi-sport coordination and movement skills. The key question for coaches is whether his strength and motor translate into consistent run-stopping and pocket push at the FBS level; if they do, he profiles as a useful, high-upside fit for a physical defensive front.
