Demetrius Bell brings size, rim protection, and inside toughness for Northwestern State
Bell is a physical frontcourt presence for Northwestern State whose value goes beyond box-score points: he has shown he can battle bigger post players, rebound, and make disruptive defensive plays in limited minutes, including a strong stretch against Lamar’s 7-1 James Davis in the Southland tournament[6]. His profile suggests a raw but useful interior defender who can impact the game with effort, toughness, and matchup-specific defense rather than polished scoring, making him a fit for teams that need size and energy in the paint[4][6].
