Savannah State DB Deshawn Printup brings coach-led football IQ and secondary versatility
Deshawn Printup is listed as a defensive back for Savannah State, but public stat detail on his current college performance is limited in the available sources, so the clearest read is on his football background: he is also identified publicly as a head coach and “Co-Creator of the CAT-5 System,” which suggests strong scheme knowledge, communication, and defensive teaching instincts.[2][4] That kind of maturity can translate well in the secondary, especially for a player fit in a disciplined, assignment-sound defense that values leadership, recognition, and consistent positioning over flash.[2][4]
