Brandon Alston brings big-play efficiency to NCCU’s passing game
In the 2025 season, Brandon Alston showed reliable production for North Carolina Central, catching 9 passes for 138 yards and 2 touchdowns, an eye-catching 15.3 yards per catch.[2] At a listed 5-5 and 150 pounds, he stands out less for size than for quickness, separation ability, and willingness to maximize touches, which makes him a useful fit for a role that values speed and efficiency over volume.[3][2] Publicly available roster data does not show major injury concerns, but the sample size is still modest, so his value is best viewed as a compact, versatile receiving threat rather than a high-volume target.[3][2]
