Mycial Allen brings veteran ball skills and downhill urgency to NIU’s back end
Mycial Allen is a seasoned Northern Illinois safety whose calling card has been production and playmaking, including 99 solo tackles and 6 interceptions across his NIU career, with a knack for timely pass breakups and run support. In the 2016 season, he finished with 61 tackles and ranked among the team’s top solo-stoppers, and he has also shown the kind of steady, physical presence coaches trust in big moments. He’s the sort of safety you care about if you want experience, range, and a defender who reads the field like he’s got the answer key.
