a long, shot-making guard who gave Idaho State a real perimeter spark
Monika Marekova’s profile fits the classic “don’t leave her open” mold: a 6-1 guard from Slovakia who was repeatedly praised for perimeter shooting, timely scoring, and bench punch during her Idaho State run. In the 2004-05 season, she delivered 13 points on 4-of-7 shooting with 2-of-4 from deep and a perfect 3-of-3 at the line in a win over Portland State, and earlier Idaho State coverage highlighted her 15-point burst in just 10 minutes against Eastern Washington. If you want length, shooting, and instant offense, she’s your kind of guard.
