Jalin Speed brings special-teams grit and versatile defensive-back upside to Sac State
In his 2023 season at Sacramento State, Jalin Speed appeared in nine games and saw most of his action on special teams, which points to a player coaches can trust for effort and assignment discipline.[4] He also describes himself as a versatile CB/N/S and a transfer with two years of eligibility, signaling scheme flexibility and roster value for teams that need depth across the secondary.[3] If you want a competitive, plug-and-play defensive back who can help in multiple roles and battle for a larger defensive snap count, he is a solid fit.[3][4]
