Low-usage guard who brings steady passing and active perimeter defense to NCCU
Dasmine Kasey is a reliable, team-first guard whose value shows up in the little things: she has logged starts at North Carolina Central and, in her latest available season, averaged 2.0 assists, 2.6 rebounds, and 16 steals while shooting enough to contribute as a secondary scorer. NCCU game notes show she can swing momentum with playmaking — including a six-assist outing that fueled a 12-0 fourth-quarter run — which suggests she fits best as a connector, energy player, and defensive-minded backcourt piece rather than a primary shot-creator.
