Reliable, low-drama long snapper with a clean track record
Sam Walkingstick was a walk-on long snapper at Oklahoma State who handled punts and placements in every game of the 2018 season without incident, a sign of the exact trait coaches love at this spot: total reliability[1]. In his 2017 season, he again played every regular-season game and helped the Cowboys’ kicking operation stay efficient, while his path from a ranked high-school snapping prospect to first-team special-teams contributor shows toughness, consistency, and a team-first edge[1]. If you need a snapper who won’t create headlines, that’s the headline.
