Physical, Special-Teams-Ready DB with a Setback-Riddled 2025
Will Mitchell II is a 5'10", 181-pound defensive back for Texas State who logged 11 games in 2024 primarily on special teams, then was limited to 3 games and 2 starts in 2025 before a season-ending injury; he finished that year with 10 tackles and 2 pass breakups. His value is the kind coaches notice: compact frame, willingness to contribute in multiple phases, and proven game experience rather than flash. If you want an energetic depth piece who can help on special teams and provide competitive snaps in the secondary, he is a reasonable fit.
