Jayden Blalack arrives at DBU with high-end Texas prep pedigree
Blalack is a freshman outfielder for Dallas Baptist in the 2026 season, bringing a strong Texas background, a left-handed bat, and a prospect profile that included being rated the No. 11 shortstop in Texas by Perfect Game during his prep career[1][3]. He was a three-time first-team all-district pick, which signals a consistent competitive edge and everyday reliability rather than a flash-in-the-pan résumé[1]. With no college statistics yet available, the intrigue is all upside: he looks like a developmental bat and athlete who could fit a program that values toughness, versatility, and long-term growth[1][4].
