a veteran UNI linebacker with size, experience, and instincts
Gordon Szymanski projects as a tough, experienced UNI linebacker whose biggest differentiators are size, football IQ, and a proven all-state prep background that suggests he brings reliable physicality and discipline to the middle of the defense. The available information is limited and doesn’t show current 2026 production, but his profile points to a player who should fit teams that value strong run support, mature tackling angles, and a steady on-field presence more than flashy splash plays. If your defense needs a dependable tone-setter, he’s the kind of linebacker worth a closer look.
