Justin Gaskins brings local power and development upside to Delaware State’s defensive front
Justin Gaskins is a Dover product who gives Delaware State a developmental defensive-line piece with hometown grit and size up front; the program listed him on its 2023 roster as a freshman DL, and CBS Sports also labels him as a freshman, which suggests he is still in the early stages of his college career[1][2]. At this point, the why-care factor is less about box-score volume and more about upside: a young interior defender from the Hornets’ own backyard who could grow into a sturdy, physical rotation player if his pad level, play strength, and snap consistency keep trending up[1][2].
