St. Bonaventure’s durable, contact-first catcher with upside
Cordeiro has established himself as a steady, everyday catcher for St. Bonaventure, starting 36 games and appearing in 44 as a junior in 2026 while bringing a right-handed bat and physical 6-1, 210-pound frame. He showed real offensive pop early in his college career, earning Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honors in 2024 after a .500/.533/.750 week, and he added All-Appalachian League recognition in summer ball. The fit is appealing if you want a catcher who combines experience, toughness, and emerging bat power rather than a pure glove-only backstop.[3][5][8]
