veteran Georgia Tech linebacker with a basketball background and blue-collar edge
Josh Tukes is a long-tenured Georgia Tech linebacker who first cracked game action in 2018 after redshirting, bringing experience, discipline, and a high-IQ, team-first profile rather than flashy box-score production. Georgia Tech’s own roster notes show he was a captain in his only season of high school football and a four-year basketball letterwinner, which helps explain his toughness, athletic balance, and comfort in physical space. He fits best as a steady depth piece and special-teams/value-add defender for a program that prizes reliability, effort, and versatility.
