Iowa Guard With a Real-College Footprint, But Limited On-Court Impact
Hobbs’ Iowa profile shows a guard who has been in the program for multiple seasons, but his recorded production has been extremely limited, with career highs of 5 points, 2 assists and 7 minutes in Iowa’s official roster data. The differentiator is less box-score pop than persistence and familiarity with a high-major environment; that can matter for depth, practice quality and continuity. If you need a proven rotation piece who already understands the system, he offers that floor. If you need immediate shot creation or playmaking, his statistical profile does not yet support that role.
