Arizona’s low-usage walk-on guard who brings depth and practice value
Cruz is a low-minute Arizona guard whose value is more about reliability, effort, and roster depth than box-score production; Arizona listed him as a walk-on who appeared in eight games and logged 21 total minutes in his second season, with a career-high nine minutes against Sacred Heart in the 2024-25 season. He is the kind of teammate coaches usually trust for preparedness and intensity, but there is not enough public statistical evidence to call him an impact rotation piece yet. If your team needs instant scoring, he is not the fit; if you want a steady, team-first guard who helps the back end of a roster, he makes sense.
