Solomon Lacy brings classic fullback grit to Alabama State
Solomon Lacy is listed as a fullback for Alabama State, and his profile points to a bruising, old-school lead-blocker built to create lanes and set a physical tone rather than pile up flashy stats[1][2]. The most useful context is his background: he played four years at Alabama State, was moved from linebacker to fullback because it gave him the best path to start, and earned an NFL tryout after college—so this is a player whose value shows up in toughness, adaptability, and team-first physicality[3]. If a roster needs a blocker with edge and experience, he fits the mold; if it needs a stat-sheet star, that’s not his lane[3].
