Colton Richardson brings big-frame Idaho QB intrigue with pro-style upside
In the 2026 season, Colton Richardson has flashed a live arm and starter-level size for Idaho, with ESPN listing 1,263 passing yards, 9 touchdowns and 7 interceptions in his career and more recent 2026 stat snapshots showing 434 passing yards with 2 touchdowns through limited action. He stands out as a 6'4", 235-pound quarterback who can push the ball vertically and withstand contact, and early recruiting evaluations praised his growth, toughness and feel for the little things. The fit? Intriguing if your team wants size, upside and developmental upside — but he still needs cleaner consistency and decision-making to become a reliable week-to-week QB.
