a sturdy, efficient 6-8 forward with a classic do-the-dirty-work profile
Cliff Sammet is listed as a 6-8, 215-pound forward from Santa Cruz who appeared for Santa Clara in the 2005-06 season, where his stat line was modest but efficient: 6 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 assist in his best game profile. His value looks more like role-player glue than box-score fireworks — size, rebounding, defensive activity, and hustle over volume scoring. If a team wants toughness, board work, and a low-drama frontcourt piece, he’s the kind of player who can help without needing the spotlight.
