Tommy Edwards is a Sacramento State freshman QB with a developmental ceiling
Edwards is listed on Sacramento State’s 2026 roster as a freshman quarterback after graduating from Pittsburg HS in 2025, but there’s no reliable public game-stat trail yet to judge his on-field production in 2026.[1][2] The intrigue is upside: as a young QB in a program that will likely need patience and development, he’s the kind of prospect whose value comes from growth, coaching fit, and spring-to-fall progression rather than a box score snapshot.
