veteran Tarleton guard brings leadership, shot-making and steady two-way value
In the 2020-21 season, Alexa Hoy was Tarleton State’s returning leading scorer and a preseason All-WAC second-team selection, with the Texans noting she posted 9.7 points, 2 rebounds and 31 steals in 2019-20. She later earned all-conference honorable mention in her first season with Tarleton, and coaches have highlighted her as a primary ballhandler and team captain type—an experienced, accountable guard who can organize an offense and compete defensively. If a roster needs maturity, poise and a player who understands how to run a team, Hoy is an easy fit.
