Idaho State RB Shows Grit in 2024 Season Finale Despite Team Loss
As Idaho State's running back in the 2024 season, Vince Caviglia demonstrated resilience and intensity during the Bengals' 40-17 season-ending loss to Idaho, where the team outplayed the Vandals in total plays (77 vs. 58) despite the score deficit[2]. While specific rushing stats for Caviglia aren't publicly detailed in available reports, his presence contributed to a ground game that kept the Bengals competitive in yardage (373 total yards) against a top Big Sky opponent[2]. Caviglia differentiates himself through high-play volume tolerance and a physical, no-hesitation running style that fits teams prioritizing durability and work rate over flash. No reported injury history limits concerns, and his team-first mentality aligns well with programs seeking reliable, hard-nosed backs who elevate offensive consistency.
