Compact, disruptive Villanova linebacker with proven backfield production
Antonio Montero is a **warrior-style linebacker** who brings a compact frame, real tackle-for-loss production, and a track record of making impact plays at Villanova; his career totals include **15.0 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, one interception, five pass breakups, one fumble recovery, and one forced fumble**. He profiles as a smart, active defender who can trigger downhill and affect multiple phases of the game, which matters if you want a linebacker who adds toughness and playmaking rather than just pile-up tackles. His smaller build for the position suggests he may fit best in an aggressive, speed-oriented scheme.[4][1][2]
