Adam Shibley brings veteran depth, special-teams value, and a high-effort LB mentality to Notre Dame
Shibley’s value is less about splash stats and more about reliability: Notre Dame listed him as appearing in all six games on special teams and four games at linebacker with one start, finishing with 23 tackles and 3 tackles for loss in his latest Irish season. He looks like a tough, assignment-sound depth piece who can help on coverage units, provide rotational linebacker snaps, and bring mature, walk-on-turned-graduate-transfer grit. That profile makes him a fit for teams that want experience, effort, and trustworthy role-player production rather than pure star power.
