UIW’s field-flipping specialist: Keven Nguyen brings proven leg strength and veteran special-teams value
Keven Nguyen has been a steady special-teams weapon for UIW, earning second-team All-Southland Conference punter honors in the 2021 season and posting 44.57 yards per punt across 37 punts for 1,649 yards that year. He’s the kind of veteran kicker/punter who can quietly win hidden-yardage battles: consistent, experienced, and trusted in pressure situations. The downside is that available public data is older, so a current-year form check is limited, but his track record says he’s a reliable fit if you want stability, field position, and a specialist with real conference-caliber pedigree.
