Colorado State legend Jason Smith brings NBA-tested size, shot-making, and veteran edge
Jason Smith is a 7-foot Colorado State forward whose profile is built on pro-level experience, interior size, and a reliable midrange touch—he went on to play 13 NBA seasons, the longest career of any CSU men’s player at that level. Colorado State has honored him for his impact, including a 2025 Ring of Honor induction, which underscores his program legacy and leadership value. He is a fit if you want a steady, seasoned big who can anchor a frontcourt and bring credibility, composure, and a proven work ethic rather than flash.
