Sean Hopson brings length, experience, and edge-setting pop to NIU’s front
Sean Hopson is a Northern Illinois defensive end with a proven physical profile and real developmental upside, but the public record on his 2026 college production is thin. NIU’s roster lists him at 5'10" and 262 pounds, a compact build that can help him play with leverage and power at the point of attack. The key appeal is his toughness and fit as an aggressive, disruptive edge presence; for teams, he looks like the kind of grinder who can win with effort, strength, and low-center leverage rather than pure flash.
