Southern’s secondary looks built for toughness, but DaVanti Bryant’s current profile is still hard to pin down
DaVanti Bryant appears to be a Southern University defensive back in a program that has leaned on its defense early in the 2026 season, with the Jaguars allowing 25.5 points per game through their first two games. I couldn’t verify reliable, player-specific stat lines or ranking data for Bryant from the accessible sources, so the safest read is that he’s a depth-or-development piece unless he’s earned bigger snaps on special teams or in the rotation. If you need a DB who brings physicality and upside, he’s worth a closer look—but this isn’t yet a proven, stat-flooding headline name.
