CCSU’s old-school force of nature with a double-double engine
In the 2003-04 season, Ron Robinson powered Central Connecticut State as a rugged forward who led the Northeast Conference in double-doubles, averaged 18.2 points and 9.5 rebounds, and earned NEC Player of the Year honors; over his CCSU career, he finished with 1,268 points and 988 rebounds, showing elite consistency and physicality. He was described as a fiery competitor and tough presence around the rim, which makes him the kind of player who changes the tone of a team—exactly the sort of high-motor, rebound-first fit coaches love.
