Chris Schaan brings developmental edge on North Dakota’s defensive line
Chris Schaan is a North Dakota defensive lineman whose value appears to come from steady development and practice-field reliability rather than flashy headline stats; UND notes he spent his redshirt season and was twice named Defensive Scout Player of the Week, which points to a player trusted for preparation, effort, and role discipline. That profile matters if you want a high-motor lineman who can absorb coaching, push depth-chart competition, and fit a team culture built on toughness and detail.
