veteran Tulsa DT with a sturdy, physical frame
Thomas Shamet is a 6-2, 267-pound defensive tackle from Tulsa whose profile points to a classic interior run-stopper: compact build, solid mass, and enough length to hold ground in the middle. Tulsa’s roster lists him as a junior with a Bishop Miege background, and available stat sites show a career without much public production, so the appeal is more about role fit than splashy numbers. He’s the kind of player who can eat space, keep linebackers clean, and give a defense some trench credibility.
