Edgars Kaufmanis brings size, Latvian pedigree, and wing versatility to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi
Kaufmanis is a 6-foot-4 guard/forward with a long international résumé and a history of doing the little things well, including averaging 9.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game in his 2019-20 North Platte CC season; earlier youth national-team play in Latvia also shows he has been a steady scorer at the international level. The fit question is simple: if a team wants a mature, multi-positional wing who can space the floor, compete physically, and survive in different roles, he’s worth a look. He may not be a headline-grabber, but he has the kind of utility and experience coaches tend to trust.
