a low-post rebounding force who once powered Grambling with double-doubles
LaKandra Davis is remembered as a physical frontcourt presence for Grambling State, with career production that points to reliable scoring efficiency and strong rebounding for a forward-center. In her Grambling career, she posted 11.5 points and 5.9 rebounds per game, shot 49.6% from the field, and was good enough to earn All-SWAC recognition in the 2001-02 season. She also flashed real glass-cleaning chops, including a 15-point, 13-rebound double-double in a 2000 game. If you value toughness, interior scoring, and board work over flash, she’s your kind of big.
