Aaron Sears brings a proven leg and clutch-season pedigree to Chattanooga
Aaron Sears profiles as a dependable, high-leverage kicker with a track record of delivering in big moments for Chattanooga; in the 2021 season he was a Southern Conference Player of the Week after going 3-for-3 on field goals, including kicks from 21, 27, 30 and 40 yards against Kentucky and Samford, and Chattanooga later noted he led the team in scoring in his first season there[1][5][7]. The selling point is consistency under pressure: he’s already shown he can handle tight games, turn scoring chances into points, and give a coach confidence from mid-range, which is exactly what you want when the margins get tiny and the points get precious[1][3][5].
