Tommy Meluskey’s bat has flashed big-time upside for NM State
Tommy Meluskey has been a spark plug for New Mexico State in the 2026 season, with multiple impact games that include a six-RBI breakout against Dallas Baptist and a two-homer night versus No. 25 Arizona State; he also strung together a team-best seven-game hit streak and a 13-game on-base streak. The appeal is clear: he brings extra-base pop, run production, and momentum-changing at-bats, making him a fit for teams that value a competitive left-handed bat with clutch upside. His current profile is more about streaky damage than polished consistency, but the ceiling is real.
