Gwathmey brings length, rim protection, and veteran poise to JMU
In the 2025-26 season, Jazmon Gwathmey stands out as a 6-foot-2 guard whose best calling cards are size, shot-blocking, and versatile production—traits that made her a 1,555-point, 173-block career player at James Madison and later a pro contributor overseas. She’s the kind of long, disruptive two-way guard who can change a possession without needing the ball in her hands, which is exactly why coaches value her as a fit: dependable, physical, and hard to ignore when the game gets real.
