High-Impact LB with Elite Prep Sack History, Now Building at Northwestern
Michael Jansey Jr. is a 6-1, 210-pound linebacker for the Northwestern Wildcats whose differentiator lies in his explosive prep intensity: as a senior at Batavia High, he posted 75 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, and 10 sacks—ranking 16th in Illinois for sacks. Though his 2021 college stats show 1 solo tackle (1,033rd of 1,286 LBs), his high school pedigree reveals a player with rare sack-making instincts and relentless pursuit. He carries no known injury history and plays with a high-intensity, aggressive personality that elevates team defense. While not yet a stat leader in college, his differentiator is his proven ability to disrupt plays behind the line. For teams seeking a high-motor LB with elite prep sack production and untapped potential, Jansey Jr. is a strong developmental fit.
