Cece Marquez brings contact bat, steady outfield value to UTEP
Cece Marquez, a sophomore outfielder for UTEP in 2026, profiles as a reliable left-field piece with a compact, contact-oriented game and enough production to help lengthen a lineup. Her high-school résumé showed above-average on-base ability, and her early college numbers indicate she can contribute without needing to be a power hitter. What makes her interesting is the mix of consistency, defensive fit in the outfield, and room to grow in UTEP’s program—she looks like a useful team piece for coaches who value dependable at-bats and low-drama, everyday effort.
