veteran Delaware interior lineman built for the trenches
Yaw Aidoo is a Delaware defensive tackle who has the frame and experience profile of a classic space-eating interior lineman at 5-foot-11 and about 325 pounds, with a background as a former Wilmington Charter standout and walk-on who stuck it out through multiple seasons. In Delaware’s 2017 roster bio, he was described as a fourth-year member and an exercise science major with aspirations in physical therapy, which hints at the kind of disciplined, team-first presence coaches tend to trust in the locker room. The upside is obvious: he’s a stout, low-center-of-gravity interior body who fits teams needing toughness, leverage, and practice-room grit more than splashy stats.
