Tyler Funk gives Illinois State a proven special-teams weapon
Tyler Funk profiles as a reliable, high-upside **kicker** for Illinois State, with the kind of special-teams value that can quietly swing close games[1]. His main appeal is consistency and field-position impact rather than flash, which makes him a fit for teams that want a steady, low-drama contributor under pressure[1]. Publicly available career stat information confirms his active role for the Redbirds, but detailed season-by-season performance, injury history, and advanced ranking data were not available in the provided sources[1].
