Arkansas LB with a Long-Range, High-Energy Profile
Villegas is a developmental Arkansas linebacker who has logged limited varsity production so far, so the appeal is less about box-score noise and more about projection: a hometown player with room to grow, special-teams value upside, and the kind of physical defensive role that can reward instinct and effort. ESPN lists him as an Arkansas linebacker with 2025 stats showing 1 tackle and 1 assist, which suggests he is still carving out his niche rather than already being a finished product. If you want immediate proven impact, he is not that yet; if you want a likely depth-and-development fit with local ties, he is worth watching.[1]
