David Thomas is a steady, versatile guard who has carved out a real role with efficient shot-making and usable playmaking.
In the 2025-26 season at Richmond, David Thomas appeared in 31 games with seven starts and averaged 4.2 points and 1.1 rebounds per game, with a season-high 18 points highlighted by a 6-for-7 night from three. He looks like a low-drama, rotational guard who can space the floor and give you competent minutes without needing heavy touches. The appeal is his efficiency and lineup flexibility; the limitation is that his statistical profile suggests a complementary piece more than a primary creator.
