Ricky Ojeda is a high-leverage lefty who just dominated in both the bullpen and on the radar
Ojeda enters 2026 as one of UC Irvine’s most proven arms, coming off a 2025 season in which he went 13-1 with a 3.62 ERA, 83 strikeouts, and only 27 walks in 64.2 innings, while earning Big West Pitcher of the Year honors.[1][11][12] What makes him especially interesting is the mix of polish and bat-missing ability: evaluators describe an undersized but athletic left-hander whose low-90s fastball plays up with strong extension and a high miss rate, and he’s already shown he can handle big moments at the national-team level.[10][12][15]
