Jamal Wallace brings SEC-sized power and disruptive upside at defensive line
Wallace is a 6'3", 313-pound defensive lineman whose value shows up in the dirty work: in his breakout sophomore season at Tennessee, he logged 39 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and three pass breakups, which points to a player who can both anchor against the run and create chaos in the backfield[3]. ESPN’s 2025 stats page shows he remained active in the rotation, though with lighter counting stats, so his fit is as a physical, high-motor interior defender with splash-play upside rather than a pure stat accumulator[7].
