Tech-built tackle with a rare durability streak
Andrew Gardner is a Georgia Tech offensive tackle whose calling card was reliability: in the 2008 season, he was a two-time first-team All-ACC selection and finished his Tech career with 48 straight starts, a run that ranked among the longest in the country at the time and still sits fourth in Georgia Tech history[10]. He was known as a polished, tough, technically sound lineman with enough size to handle power football, but a torn labrum ended his senior season after nine games[10]. If you value steadiness, experienced tackle play, and a player who could anchor a line, he fit the profile beautifully.
