Ava Puttler brings speed, pop, and polished outfield pedigree to Montana
A freshman outfielder for Montana in the 2026 season, Ava Puttler arrives with a strong competitive résumé: a four-year varsity starter, first-team all-league pick, and a player who helped Emerald Ridge reach multiple state tournaments. Montana’s own notes also show she contributed offensively in 2026, including an inside-the-park home run in fall action and a .208 batting line with 5 RBI in the Grizzlies’ cumulative stats. The sell here is upside with polish: speed, versatility, and high-level prep experience make her a useful fit for a program that values pressure defense and aggressive baserunning.
