Davian Brantley brings veteran Hornets depth and hometown toughness to Alabama State’s secondary
Davian Brantley is a seasoned Alabama State defensive back whose value comes from experience, physicality, and familiarity with the Hornets’ system. Public roster/history data shows he has been on the roster since 2014 and listed at 5'10", 170-181 pounds over his Alabama State career, which suggests a compact, battle-tested DB profile rather than a flashy stat-sheet star. The upside is reliability, toughness, and special-teams-minded depth; the caveat is that widely available public stats for his current-season impact are limited, so he looks more like a steady fit for a defense that needs trusted, assignment-sound play than a headline-grabbing turnover machine.
