Deep-bench guard with flashes of two-way energy
Isaac Spears is a reserve guard for Cal Poly whose current impact is modest but occasionally useful: in 2024-25 he appeared in 19 games, made seven starts, and produced a season-best 10 points at Denver and 5 points with 2 steals vs. Cal State Fullerton. His value is more about flashes than volume—he brings guard size, some defensive activity, and a willingness to step into bigger minutes when needed, but his shooting has been inconsistent and his statistical output remains limited. He fits best as a developmental depth piece rather than an instant-impact transfer.
