Logan Hawkins brings veteran, blue-collar weight to Akron’s defensive front
Logan Hawkins is a redshirt junior defensive lineman for Akron at 6-2, 295, and the picture here is clear: veteran depth, sturdy size, and dependable snap-eating value on the interior[1]. In the 2021 season, he played in all 12 games, made one start, and logged 11 tackles, 1 sack, 1.5 tackles for loss, and a forced fumble, showing he can flash disruptive traits when he gets downhill[1]. He’s the kind of physical, assignment-sound DL who helps a defense stay honest — not always the headline act, but often the guy making the messy plays that matter[1][3].
